Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Sorano ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not download or use the App.
Description of Service
Sorano is an iOS application that generates personalized jet lag adaptation plans based on circadian rhythm science. The App provides recommendations for timing of light exposure, sleep, caffeine, melatonin, and meals to help users adjust to new time zones.
Not Medical Advice
Important: Sorano is NOT a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
The recommendations provided by the App are for general wellness purposes only and are based on published circadian rhythm research. They are not a substitute for professional medical advice.
Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before making changes to your sleep schedule, taking melatonin or other supplements, or if you have any medical conditions that may be affected by jet lag or changes in circadian rhythm.
Do not disregard professional medical advice or delay seeking it because of information provided by this App.
Subscriptions and Purchases
Sorano Subscription:
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase
- Subscription automatically renews unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
- Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period
- You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your App Store account settings
Refunds:
All purchases are processed by Apple. To request a refund, visit reportaproblem.apple.com or contact Apple Support.
Free Trial:
If offered, the free trial converts to a paid subscription unless canceled before the trial ends. Any unused portion of a free trial will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
Price Changes:
Prices may change. You will be notified in advance and must agree to new pricing to continue.
Use of the App
Sorano is provided "as is" for personal, non-commercial use. You agree to:
- Use the app in accordance with these terms and applicable laws
- Not rely solely on the app for health-related decisions
- Not use the app if you have medical conditions without consulting a doctor
User Responsibilities
You are responsible for:
- The accuracy of flight and sleep profile data you enter
- Maintaining the security of your device
- Using recommendations at your own discretion
- Consulting healthcare professionals for medical concerns
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Alexey Rokalo shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including but not limited to:
- Loss of data
- Loss of profits
- Personal injury or health effects
- Missed flights or travel disruptions
- Inaccurate flight data from third-party APIs
Intellectual Property
All content, design, algorithms, and code in Sorano are the property of Alexey Rokalo and protected by copyright laws. You may not:
- Copy, modify, or distribute the app
- Reverse engineer or decompile the app
- Use the app for commercial purposes
- Extract or replicate the adaptation algorithm
Updates
We may release updates to the app from time to time. These updates may include bug fixes, new features, or changes to existing functionality. Continued use of the app after updates constitutes acceptance of any changes.
Termination
You may stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it from your device. We reserve the right to discontinue the app at any time without notice.
Governing Law
These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Poland, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the app constitutes acceptance of updated terms.
